    Details

minimum, at the heath area. As I observed the willow warbler and tits, an unfamiliar call caught my attention and I soon located bramblings in the trees, in a feeding party of males and females, both calling. The best views I've had of this species, they remained in the area for as long as I did.

    Details

in same area as the brambling.

  31. Number observed:  10

    Details

minimum. On the previous walk I thought I'd heard greenfinch from the shrubs near the hide as we walked past. On observing from the hide this time, I realised that the call I'd heard was redpoll and there were many in the shrubs on the far side of the pond from the hide. More were flying about as I later walked through the woods and heath areas.
