References for eBirders
The eBird Help page provides users of all levels with tips for how to better use and understand eBird. You may be just getting started and want to read more about what eBird is or why you should participate. Once you have started using eBird, many articles are available to help build your eBird skills, answer questions on entering or exploring data, as well as using tools such as uploading photos and sounds or using the mobile apps. Whatever your questions are, there may already be helpful articles to answer them, and if not you can always ask the eBird community.
In addition to many other article topics, eBird Northwest publishes original articles written by local experts with the goals to help readers better understand local bird communities and conservation threats, and to give birders tips for hard to identify species and subspecies. These articles include information on region subspecies of Wilson’s warblers, Orange-crowned warblers, Dark-eyes Juncos and much more. For a full list of these articles visit the eBird NW Identification Page.
