It had pale eyes and was very long-winged, giving it a very attenuated look. The bill was slim and greenish with a black tip and red marks on either side of the black mark. The head was white with a distinct dark wash on the nape of the neck. The head and underparts were white. The back and upper surface of the wings were dark gray. The outer primaries were black. The legs were greenish. The tail was white at the base and had a wide black band with a white tip. The bird was south of Frank Rendon Park about 1/2 mile.
