Common on the main island and on beaches of islets e.g. Nukuatea. During a walk along the east coast from Eglise St Paul & Pierre south for 2 hours 14 PGP were recorded. At Lake Alofivai on September 3rd 20 were recorded.

Heard calling during night work on Nukuatea on several dates. August 9th, 20th and 25th. Call is a highly distinctive rising cry, that breaks into a high trembling note then falls off. I know this call from time spent in the Gambier Islands.
