Checklist Comments

After visiting Hillswick I made a brief stop at the lighthouse for a flock of Snow Bunting. I found the birds on the short grassland south of the lighthouse and enjoyed good views of this lovely flock of 46 birds in the sunny but windy conditions. As the light faded I drove the 50 minutes back to Lerwick and back to the hotel.

    Feeding on short grass to south of lighthouse, wonderful spending time with this large flock as the light faded despite the very windy conditions.
