Details
Small flock in the main lagoon was a total surprise. Present both days, could be late migrants or perhaps wintering birds. Additional notes from field sketches - black underwings, rather than white, to separate from BTGO. Otherwise, typical basic type plumage with white/whitish rump (in flight), white bellied, gray chested, large shorebird with long pink and black bill. Pale wing stripe visible when birds raised wings and flew several times.
