Server Upgrades Complete!

We are thrilled to announce the successful migration of our databases to new servers! All Cornell Lab services are now fully restored. This marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our platforms as we rapidly approach 2 billion bird observations. Moving a massive database like eBird is no small feat. A huge thanks to the Cornell Lab technical team for their months of hard work preparing and coordinating the transition to new infrastructure.

An additional thanks to YOU, the global birding community, for your patience throughout this process. Your messages of support during the server migration warmed our hearts, just as your dedicated contributions to science inspire us every day. We are truly touched—and glad to be back!
