Post-split lifer! Finally found after several hours of searching along coast, and nice and close too! Preening and napping among a large flock of Ring-billed Gulls; the birds all flew out just before sunset. Stood out among the Ring-bills more than I expected- noticeably darker mantle, striking white crescent on secondaries, heavily streaked head & neck. And yes, tiny bill. Digibinned photos.
