Details
ID'd by Bill Murphy and seen by April Sterling and Becky Heck as well. It had a stick straight bill, and was going in circles as it foraged. It stood out because it was among the Short-billed Dowitchers who stayed in one place and foraged. Coloration was that of a female adult breeding. Seen with spotting scope but day was rainy and gloomy so no pictures available.

Details
Changed from Black-bellied Plover after discussion with Bill Murphy who had greater details of it from observing it two days in a row. It had" dark crown that contrasted strongly with superciliary. The front of the face dropped vertically to the bill. The bill was fine and evenly tapered (no constriction mid point and no bulbous swelling towards tip)." There are no photos available.
