    Details

    !! At 21:03, Adult flying east from Point Defiance over the greenhouses on the hill, continuing and gradually descending into the Tacoma Tideflats. Medium heron, much larger than Green, smaller than Great Blue. Squat broad-winged short appearance. Wingbeats were shallower than Great Blue. Clear angle on the legs, which did not project beyond the tail, only the feet did. General appearance was even pallid gray from below.
