Checklist Comments

Kayak birding the interior of Jamaica Bay for the Christmas Bird Count. Outgoing water following a spring tide for the duration of the outing. A breeze at the finish: otherwise, drizzle, fog, mild temps. Also notable was an inquisitive harbor seal. Oystercatcher photos by Bonnie Aldinger.
