1. White-winged Scoter

   Details

   Presumably the same continuing bird I saw by Burro Island at 9:40 & again from 10 Lane Boat Ramp around 10:15. This time it was with a group of ~40 goldeneyes in the very back of a side cove off of 2 Cow Cove. Poor, backlit photos.

   Details

   Found the continuing male with a group of approx 40 COGO’s after 2+ hours of searching all the coves & open water from Scorpion Marina to 10 Lane Boat Ramp. They were in the back of the farthest northeast side cove in the 2 Cow Cove area, but not visible from 2 Cow Point. Unfortunately 2 hikers cruising the lake shore edge scared off the flock again before I could get a decent photo. Likely the same group of goldeneyes we saw an hour earlier from Sunset Point, where it was also reported around that same there (10:30), but the flock flushed to the north just after we arrived. Distinct white crescent instead of round white spot behind bill.
