See photos. Long continuing rarity, far out on low-tide mudflats; loosely associated with 3 or so Red Knots. Feeding casually, including small clams as shown in photos. Sometimes flew with Red Knots and sometimes alone. Fairly similar to Red Knot in flight. Photo shows Great Knot on left. Quite tame. Did not roost at high tide on Bandon Jetty as had been sometimes previously reported. Only a single Red Knot resting on Jetty that afternoon.
