   Details

   Dan Kaiser alerted me and we viewed this adult foraging in thick cover along shore area on east side of the pool that runs along the west of the south bound road terminus. Bird was in heavy cover for some time but we had good bin, scope and camera views periodically. Deep blue head and throat with a lighter blue cap, bright red bill tipped with yellow, greenish back on primaries and a bright white rump. Dan Kaiser photo attached.
