    Details

Continuing bird first reported by Jan Drury on 11/10/22 and by many others since. Overall gray thrush somewhat smaller and much slimmer than AMRO. Black bill and complete conspicuous whitish eye ring. Small square cinnamon wing patch sometimes visible at base of primaries on folded wing. Buff wing stripe formed by buffy bases to remiges apparent on stretched wing during preening. Narrow white edge on outer rects. Narrow white wing bar formed by white tips on greater covs. Edges of terts fringed silver. Preening the whole time I watched it in the small tree with orange berries (a hawthorn?) next to the big cedar just across from the SW corner of the white building SW of the Rivermark building.
