1. Alpine Swift

   Number observed:  1

   Details

   1 this evening in with the +100 Pallid Swifts, which are still nesting in Coimbra, it looked nearly twice the size of the Pallid Swifts with an obvious white belly, brown plumage, a slower flight with deeper wing beats, my first here for two years. Watched for about 10 minutes as it hawked for insects along a wooded ridge.
