2021 Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival

Registration is OPEN for the Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival in Cordova, Alaska! This hybrid event will take place both virtually and in person May 6th-9th. This is Alaska’s oldest wildlife viewing festival and celebrates the return of shorebirds to the productive Copper River Delta where they stop and refuel during their northbound journey to their breeding grounds.

This year’s festival will be a combination of in-person and virtual events that can be enjoyed from anywhere in the world. The full event schedule includes guided wildlife and bird tours, art and photography classes, junior birder events, and an excellent talk by keynote speaker Scott Weidensaul.
