Identification
Medium-sized, dark olive-green greenbul with distinctive yellow stripes on the sides of the throat. Found in rainforest, montane forest, gallery forest, secondary scrub, overgrown cultivation, and gardens. Generally common, but retiring and usually detected by voice. The vocalizations consist of low “chrow” notes, which are given endlessly in a chatty series throughout the day. Separated from other greenbuls by its yellow whiskers.
