FORNECIDA POR MERLIN

Brightly-colored for a prinia, this is a species of lowland fields, wetlands, and meadows. Dark above, yellowish below, with a white throat, eyering, and thin stripe between eye and bill. Typically found singly or in pairs. Forages low in vegetation, flicking its long tail constantly. Hill Prinia is larger, lacks yellow on the belly, and has a longer and more prominent white supercilium. Song is a distinctive, a cascading series of twitters following a buzzy introductory note.
