Identification
Medium-sized antbird found in the understory of humid forests, second growth, and plantations. Often follows army-ant swarms and mixed-species flocks. Males are black with white shoulders and 2 white wingbars. Females are rufous-brown above and paler below. Both sexes have red eyes.
