Kara Göğüslü Karıncaavcısı Biatas nigropectus

Unmistakable medium-sized antshrike, with a long tail and a short bill. Inhabits the understory of dense humid forest and second growth with bamboo. Both sexes are cinnamon-brown above and buffy below. Males have a crested black cap and a black breast that contrasts with a white collar. Females have a cinnamon crest and a white eyebrow. The song is a loud and clear descending series of 7–8 whistles.
