Identification
Large-headed small brown bird with a grayish-brown head, dark brown brow, and orange sides and wings. Fine brown streaking on throat often not noticeable. Reminiscent of Gray-hooded Fulvetta in shape and general patterning, but browner-headed and darker-toned overall. Moves about in the lower and middle levels in small flocks, sometimes with other species. Calls frequently and noisily, giving trills, twitters, and chatters.
