Small tanager generally lime green above and whitish below with dense black spotting all over. Rather stout bill. Wing feathers have pale blue edges. Sexes alike. Found in pairs or small flocks, often mixed with other songbirds, in forests and edges. Tends to stay at middle levels or in the canopy. Feeds on fruit; can visit fruit feeders.
