Slaty Monarch Mayrornis lessoni

A small, somewhat warbler-like gray flycatcher with a long tail. Pale powder-blue with a pale belly and a bold white eye-ring. Tail black with white outer edge. Wing feathers black-edged. Undertail bright white. Found in forest habitats, including parks and gardens. Forages actively, sometimes joining mixed flocks. Common call is a harsh and repetitive “tsic tstsic.”
