Identification

POWERED BY MERLIN

This tiny inconspicuous flycatcher inhabits the interior of humid tropical forest in the lowlands. It feeds mainly at middle to upper levels, perching quietly and sallying for insects. Plumage is distinctive, with bright rusty wings and tail, cinnamon underparts, and a “cute” face with a big, beady dark eye.
