Large terrestrial Furnariid endemic to rocky hillsides and rushing streams of the Sierra de Comenchingones in central Argentina. From similar White-winged Cinclodes by Olrogs’ light brown (not white) bases to primary coverts, and darker chest contrasting markedly with white throat.
