Nicobar Bulbul Ixos nicobariensis

A plain bulbul with brown upperparts and paler underparts. Note the pale, heavy bill and the short, pale eyebrow. Restricted to a few islands in the Nicobar archipelago, where it inhabits forests and forest edges. Usually in pairs, but known to congregate around fruiting trees. Noisy, with chattering calls.
