Identification

POWERED BY MERLIN

Medium-sized, relatively slender kiskadee-like flycatcher. Yellow below and olive-brown above. The obvious broad yellow eyebrow makes this species relatively straightforward to identify. Pairs are uncommon in the foothills and lower subtropical zone of the Andes from around 800–2,000 m. Often found perched in the canopy at the forest’s edge or in a clearing.
