辨識
Chunky black-and-white seabird with very thick yellow and red bill. Orange feet. Named for the spikelike protrusion of black skin above the eye. Nonbreeding and immature birds have a darker gray face and duller bill. Nests in colonies on rocky islands or cliffs in Canada and Alaska; winters on open ocean. Only other seabird in range with such a thick bill is Tufted Puffin, which has an entirely black body.
