Small flycatcher of wet forested areas of New Guinea and Cape York. Adult vivid pale gray above and in breast, rich orange below, with black wings, face, and tail. Immature lacks black around the face. Compare Black-faced Monarch, which is darker gray and has gray tail and wings.
