Identificación
A very distinctive antwren with a restricted range in the understory of forests with dense vine tangles or in regenerating forests near the coast. Note the rufous back contrasting with black body in males. Females have an olive-brown head and underparts, and a paler tail. The song is a loud descending “chip-chip-chip-chip.”
