    Details

At the time of the sighting, I felt the bird was most likely a Scarlet Tanager, but the bill shape and color troubled me. I also didn't get great looks but fortunately got photos. The bill looked rather long and noticeably toothed. Plumage showed dusky contrasting flanks and a hint of a darker auricular area. Red was evident around the face and contrasted with the yellowish green plumage. No distinct wing bars were visible. At the time of the sighting, the bird was at the end of Station Rd. It appears to be a fist year male P.f. hepatica.

If you look for this bird, it is on a quiet residential street. Do not trespass or park in or block anyone's driveway!
