**RARE** First seen in flight when the lark flock moved a bit because of a passing car. White wing patches noticed immediately and gave me a big jolt of adrenaline. After it landed my suspicions were confirmed. Lark sized, mostly white with rust on the head and a good bit of black in the wings so in other words, a nicely toasted marshmallow that was a bit burnt on the back. Second county record and Fred Co. number 247! Photographed but the photos are slightly out of focus. And this bird is now my defeated arch-nemesis.

Details
Flock of 36 close to road right across from the first house. A couple other flocks further out and a couple individuals flying over. Much potential for there to be a longspur.
