    Details

Personal latest fall record in Virginia Beach, though only slightly late of 15 Oct set departure date. Small shorebird showing clean white undersides, dark above with white spotting, white eye spectacles, dark bill, greenish yellow legs. More horizontally postured when foraging than Lesser Yellowlegs, which was also present here on E Pool. Photographed from considerable distance, see low quality ID shots below.

    Details

Could have been 500, could have been 1000 or more. Constant groups passing overhead with plenty of them landing in the scrub and working northward. Difficult to accurately quantify, but loads present for the first time this fall.
