Checklist Comments

Weather was overcast and cold. I started this survey at 1:30 pm, went for 1 hr. and covered 1.9 miles within the park. The loons were together in an apparent flock spread out over no more than 50 to 60 yards on the western side of the lake. I saw them across Caney Creek Reservoir from the beach area of the park. That was the first time that I have seen that many loons that close together.
