Details
Sparrow showing buffy chest and matching malar stripe, very fine streaking on flanks and chest compared directly to ajdacent Song Sparrows, grayer face overall than Song, more compact, tighter body structure, less vivid contrast between white and brown tones. Photographed, will post. First of this species that I have seen at the park and exciting in winter anywhere in the state. Observed in the northern half of Whitehurst Tract, on the trail between the two western-most impoundments.
