  1. Black-bellied Whistling-Duck

    Number observed:  1

    Details

    Obviously not a bird that should be here. Our guide explained that this was an exotic resident (maybe/probable escapee) who has been showing up at the WTP. No reports on e-bird, but there are trip reports online that include the Black-Bellied WD. Including for my own records, as I assume this will be invalidated from public output.

  2. Ringed Teal

    Details

    Another native to the Americas, probably escapee in SA. Again can't find other records on e-brid, but it does show up in trip reports. Our guide was not all that surprised (or at least did not seem to be) to see it. As with the Whistling-Duck in this checklist, I assume this will be invalidated but am including here for my own records.
