Seen in failing light and from a great distance. The bird was easy to pick out from the swallows as it was much larger and darker. Flight was more gliding and slower wing beats than the swallows. The first thing I though of was Black Swift but we could never see sickle shaped wings. The forked tail did show, which is more indicative of a PUMA. I got one really bad photo. Very early for PUMA.
