    I apologize for such awful photos; but it's unfortunately all was able to capture as this overall dark chocolate medium sized shearwater (smaller than WTSH) flew away from the boat (with a more direct flight pattern than Wedge-tailed Shearwater). This individual only briefly gave us a profile to show it's bill, which wasn't petite enough to be a Short-tailed Shearwater; and the shape of the head/ forehead was more elongated than a Short-tailed Shearwater.
