We originally marked this bird as a Bell's Sparrow, but upon viewing photos taken in the field, and consulting with some experts, are now convinced the identification of Sagebrush Sparrow for this bird. The significant streaking on the back, lack of strong malar, and paler gray cap all point to Sagebrush Sparrow.
