Details
Update: The bird moved on shortly after this report.
Reporting this here with the blessing of the original finder and reporter of this bird, which was originally videoed by them on Oct. 1 and both seen and photographed on Oct. 2. They sent in the initial report via the record form for unusual bird sightings on Oct. 5. We were birding together today at their private residence and the bird reappeared. Immature individual in fall plumage: Large pale eye-ring, gray cheek patch, yellow and gray cap, pale yellow throat, bright yellow breast and underparts with faint streaking on sides. Undertail is white with black outer edges near the tips. Upperparts are olive greenish; sometimes a faint reddish brown patch was visible depending on its posture. Faint wing bars. Some tail bobbing was also observed.Media
