Checklist Comments

Long-time listener, first time caller to the greater Summit Lake area and the LCT Special Area. 88F upon arrival, gusty breezes 5-15 MPH. 20% puffy and high clouds. Lots of raptors appearing to move/soar along cliffs to north and seeming to drift off to southeast, but from my perspective in the canyon wasn't confident if I was seeing the same birds just circling around and coming back up. Some more obvious movement south near sunset. IDK if this is a some type of concentration or jumping off point or if I just caught it at the right time, but could be worth following up on as a site for viewing raptor migration.

Appeared near end of observation period, new birds giving me added confidence that I was continuing to see new individuals of TUVU and RTHA, not just the same groups circling around and soaring without going anywhere.
