*rare in spring. Both states Large plover, uperparts pale gray, axillaries were black, as was the belly which extended up to the face, white top of head.

Moving north, but also sat for a spell. 3 in both states. Group of 3 and then 2. All had dark heads with white eye arcs, black primary tips with a white band in from it

Distant probably mostly Tree Swallows, but small numbers of other swallows were also moving on the Az side

Slightly late. Moving north in two groups but they also landed briefly. Males with rufous bellies, green head, pale blue shoulders and large bill. Females brown with large bills, contrasting white underwing and gray shoulders
