Date: 05/31/2009, Place: Eastham (Fort Hill), Count: 1, Name: C. Seifer, Comment: At Fort Hill this morning, Sunday May 31st, at 11:00 a Swallow-tailed Kite. It was seen well in excellent light. Long, black forked tail, all white underside with black flight feathers. It was flying towards the town cove as I was driving out so I turned back around to scan for it and to alert the birder I had just been speaking with but, saddly, neither were in sight by the time I got back to the parking lot., Massachusetts sighting BO 2009-07611 from the Bird Observer journal database
