At least two birds in a bush at our turnaround point making a serious of curious vocalizations and lots of flapping noises. They flushed when we first got close and when we were near the bush, but never left the bush, instead making a lot of noise inside the bush. Potentially a nest

Starting at 7:58 pm. Many birds singing and calling. Several birds seen on the road and in flight, some at very close range. Flight calls given while in flight, as well as when perched on the ground -- the bird bobbed its head as it called. Flight style very erratic with rapid changes in direction.
