   Details

   Juvenile bird - this is the second time we've seen it out on Egg (the first time being the 5th). Same bird both times, based on plumage. On the 5th, the bird flew past my blind, then circled around the island once before leaving. Call not heard by me, but two others in the northern blinds noted a call that sounded very different from the LAGUs, though they did not see the bird. This time the bird was seen by myself and a fellow researcher - wing pattern definitive and unique. Completely black primaries, white secondaries, and brown coverts and patagium.
