LITTLE PUBLIC PARKING AT ACTUAL LOCATION. Park here and walk along bike path next to the canal to "River Birch Park Site". YCNH was on the island in the middle of the pond. It was perched on a tree facing East when I saw it, approximately in the middle of the island. I didn't use the hotspot at the actual location because of the lack of parking if lots of birders want to come see it. Please pass this on to others to not try and park next to the pond.
I was very surprised to see it! Yellow on top of head distinguished it from BCNH. On the island in the pond south of Terracina Dr. With black crowned night herons, snowy egrets, and cattle egrets which are nesting there. I didn't use that hotspot due to lack of public parking. Please don't use that hotspot and please park at the South end of the Kohl's parking lot or other nearby public lot. Thank you! I want everyone to get a chance to see it, but also to be respectful of the nearby neighborhood and hotel. And not get a parking ticket. :)
