Long-tailed Jaeger

Very quick fly-by of this bird. Witnessed for < two seconds. Slender profile to the body, and extremely elongated, needle-like streamer, streaming well beyond the tail. No field marks were noted; first cue was the full-length tail still in tact.

Slightly darker gray mantle (dark grayish brown), compared to the nearby Ring-billed Gulls. Black "hands." Buoyant wingbeats, different than nearby Ring-billed Gulls as well. Partial dark hook seen briefly.
