This stop allowed people to study the mating flights and interactions between male and female Bobolink in the open fields of the farm. Several open field events occurred like a Merlin flying by and Swallow acrobatic flights

Flutter flights and aggressive male Bobolink calling gave the group an opportunity to see this species on its breeding grounds. Females where duet flying and driving the males crazy!! Savanah Sparrow was put in the scope to see the yellow lores and short tail of this classic sparrow.
