Seen at the Wildlife Area on West, doing a courtship type head bobbing. We observed the very thin bills and spikey head plumage.

Western/Eastern Meadowlark
1000000

This flock was enormous and difficult to estimate, in fact it could have been multi-millions. Basically, thick ribbons of birds started to arise at first light and streamed overhead for a good thirty minutes. We could see the stream cover our entire view from horizon to horizon and they just kept coming.
